Upgrading To a New Camper!

I have been thinking about getting a little larger camper lately and I've been doing some research. I finally found a layout that I really like and am retiring Matilda Mae for a new 2022 Keystone Passport SL 229RK at T&S RV & Sport in Bryan. The new name will come to me soon, I'm sure. If you're looking for a new or used RV, ask for Eric and tell him I sent you.

I have a little extra room, a better layout, lighter interior, more windows, more drawers and storage, theater seats, dinette, larger shower, sprayer hose on the kitchen sink and a wall that gives more privacy to the bedroom. It even has a 200 watt solar panel on the roof.

I had the vent covers put on the roof and a ladder is being installed for easier access to the roof. Did I mention the bigger shower?! ๐Ÿšฟ

Matilda and I have had quite a few adventures together here in the Lone Star State and you can read about most of them here on my blog. It took me a little over a year to find her. She was a great travel trailer for a mostly solo traveler or a couple, but it is time for an upgrade.

I hope she finds a new owner who will be just as happy with her as I was when we started our travels in 2019.

I'm excited to add more camping memories to my journal and this blog. I kept the tire cover and am ready to head out SOON! I have a new Texas State Parks Passport, the Centennial Edition and the Scratch Off Texas Parks map/poster and there will be other campgrounds and RV parks as well. Stay tuned...
