Back to Bandera

This was supposed to be a 3-night weekend trip, but it got shortened by a day because I left early due to bad weather reports for Monday. We didn't get quite the rain, but boy, did the wind blow! I love Bandera and I always hate to leave, but especially when it's a gorgeous day and my plan was to be there longer. This was not a big event weekend like Mardi Gras and I like it when it's calm and not as crowded. I almost feel like a "regular" here.

πŸ’œ Highlights of this trip:

  • πŸ• Camping with Pepper
  • 🚢🏻‍♀️ Walking along the river and through City Park
  • 🍻 Hanging out with good friends
  • 🎢 Arkey Blue's Silver Dollar - one of my most favorite hangouts ❤
  • 🍽 OST Steakhouse - always good grub
  • 🩳 Got warm enough to wear shorts!
  • 🀠 Texas Flag Retirement ceremony and gunfight, Cowboys on Main
  • Ridin' the River Cowboy Church
  • Quick stop by Cartoon Saloon - quite a few visitors there at the time
  • 🚘 414.8 miles round trip - 9.1 mph $3.84 per gal (OUCH!)
